In today’s high speed travelling era road traffic accidents RTA are very common. Facial fractures are commonly seen when there is injury to the face. Maxillofacial surgeons are well trained in treating complex facial trauma. Treatment for facial trauma is complex and often involves airway control, bleeding control, reduction of swelling, prevention of infection, repair of bone fractures, repair of lacerations or soft tissue injury, and reconstruction.
